At this point there exist the Space in  which the Air enjoys its antics. How about giving a sense and a purpose to all this? It can be done thanks to the element Fire,that connects the material world to the subtle one. This can be seen from the fact that it moves upwardly. A direction in its movement implies the setting up of a proper order as the Air has the tendency to blow in all directions.  The Fire is hot, slightly unctuous, bright and light. Air (life) in the body has its own ways of functionning thanks to the Fire element. Every cell, tissue, organ, system and body - physical, emotional & psychical) - carry out their own “dharma” or duty guided by the principle of transformation that emanates from the Fire element This very process gives us the capacity to transform matter in different states or in energy and vice versa.
